Tuesday 23rd March - Owaka Farm Stay

 Tuesday 23rd March - Owaka

Then to Dunedin, which took a while to pass through, but the signs were good. We progressed to Milton where we had a morning coffee at 12:30!

I liked the rooster here, but had a suspicion that it something to do with the French!

From there we drove to our camp at Owaka

Owaka means place of the canoe

Our caravan park which turned out to be a farm stay run by Coralie and Gordon McClay - mostly by Coralie.

The chooks adopted us immediately and visited our caravan:-

Coralie and her two boys from the farm house were very hospitable and informative. Andrew the eldest boy went up to the house and got a map to show us where he went sailing from school, and then gave us the map!
